Myth: Always being motivated = Consistency
Oh my goodness, this could not be farther from the truth in my experience. It's actually the opposite, motivation comes from consistency. Consistency helps us when we don't feel motivated. For example, I don't always feel motivated to move my body. It's one thing I have struggled with for years, I know once I start that I enjoy it and feel the benefits but I can also talk myself out of it really easily! Because it has become a consistent action I take every morning, I question it less. I just do it because it's part of my day, even when I don't feel like it!
Truth: building consistency helps us take action when we don't have motivation!
