If you're starting to feel overwhelmed, gratitude can help shift the mindset because we start to feel happy thinking of things that make us smile. When we start to feel happy, the body puts out more feel-good hormones and it can totally change our frame of mind!

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫??

Here's a quick and easy practice for you when you notice stress creeping in: 

1️⃣ Stop what you're doing, close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths. 
2️⃣ With eyes closed, picture 3 things that have happened that day that made you smile, made you feel better, or encouraged you. 
3️⃣ Fold your hands across your heart and say "I am living in gratitude for everything in my life." 4️⃣ Drop your hands into your lap, or by your sides, open your eyes, and smile.

✨ It's amazing how just a few minutes can shift us out of challenging situations. How do you feel after trying that?
